Glusburn Community & Arts Centre reopened in line with government guidance on Tuesday 1st September.
Social distancing rules mean that our audience capacity is significantly reduced. The major live events originally programmed during 2020 have been rescheduled for 2021, when it is hoped guidelines will allow us to fill our auditorium once again. In the meantime, we are exploring possibilities for live events which will be viable for a smaller audience.
Classes & Activities
Most regular classes and weekly activities are now able to resume, subject to restrictions. Group leaders are taking their own decisions on when to recommence their groups. We will fully support groups to reopen safely.
To limit contact, we request that all patrons, as far as possible, contact us by telephone or email rather than visiting in person should you wish to get in touch.
Following Government Guidance on Re-opening
We are continuing to follow all guidance put in place by the UK Government. Measures in place include hand sanitiser at all entrances and in each room, clear signage, one-way systems where appropriate. Face coverings should be worn by all users and visitors unless they have a valid reason not to (full government guidance and exemptions can be found here).
We will put in place whatever measures necessary, to keep our staff, volunteers and visitors safe.
Thank you for your ongoing co-operation during this difficult time for us all.
