Evenings and Weekends

A 2-session course for age 16+ to learn some key skills before getting on the road.

One of our aims when refurbishing The Studio (the former Learning Centre) was to create a space ideally suited to running courses teaching useful, practical skills to small groups, aimed particularly at teens and young adults, and also adult education classes. We were thrilled to secure funding to enable us to equip the room, hire professional tutors and subsidise the course costs. Our thanks go to the National Lottery Supporting Communities Fund.

We've got tutors lined up to deliver Contemporary Floral Art (Craven Collge), Cookery Classes (Nichola Holmes), Arts and Crafts (Art-Star) and Pre-Driving (Keith's Driving School). We hope to be able to add more subjects, potentially including coding or DJ workshops, needlecraft and teen Zumba. Sadly, ongoing coronavirus restrictions mean we've had to delay the launch until later this year. Bookings will open when dates, times and prices are confirmed, but if you're interested in knowing more about any of the courses, please register your contact details below.
