The safety of our customers and visitors is our priority. We understand that your visit might feel a little different to normal - we hope that the steps we are taking help you to feel safe so that you can relax and enjoy your time with us.
All our activities have been carefully assessed to ensure they are running in the safest way possible and meeting all the requirements set out in government guidance. Our caretakers are carrying out enhanced cleaning before and after every booking.
When visiting our venue, we ask you to please:
Do not enter the building if you or anyone in your household has symptoms or has tested positive for Coronavirus in the last 10 days or if you have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace
Wear a face covering, unless seated at a performance or café, under 11, or exempt
Use the hand sanitiser provided as you enter and exit the building and regularly throughout your visit
Provide your contact details for NHS Test and Trace by scanning the venue QR code displayed at every entrance or signing in. Pre-booked ticketed events will collect your details as part of the booking process.
Maintain 2m social distance from anybody outside your household or bubble, or 1m+ where that is not possible
Use the lift only when necessary, and only with members of your household or bubble
Observe the one-way system and one-in, one-out rule for the first-floor toilets
Follow instructions on signage and from our staff and volunteers
Don't arrive too early or congregate around the entrance

Are you open?
From Monday 12th April, as we move into Step 2 of the Roadmap, we will reopen for limited permitted activities only. These are our activities for children and young people.
When will your activities resume?
We are working with each of our activity leaders individually. Activities will resume when guidance permits and they can safely resume. Please check the activities calendar or contact us for more information.
Can I call into the office to book tickets for an event?
Sorry, at the moment the office is closed to the public. The office will reopen to visitors as we move into Step 3 of the Roadmap (w/c 17th May 2021). Bookings can be made online or over the phone at this time.
I have tickets for an event that was postponed. Are they still valid?
Yes, all tickets were automatically transferred to the new dates and refunds were offered to anybody who could not attend on the new date. New tickets will not be issued, your original ticket showing the original date is still valid. Affected events are Snake Davis, rescheduled to 12th March 2022 and The Yorkshire Shepherdess, rescheduled to 20th May 2022.
