Art-Star Kids Art and Craft Mixed Media 6-Week Course

This six-week mixed media course will include sketchbook keeping and drawing and painting from photographs and own source materials, also still life drawing and painting. We will look at advanced colour mixing and do a printing project.

These sessions are suitable for ages 10 to 17 and all levels of ability.

Materials are included.

About the Tutor Ruth Wightman is an artist and tutor with over 20 years of experience teaching in various settings including schools, museums, community centres, residential homes, and even a women's prison! The owner of Art-Star (Yorkshire) Limited, over the summer she will be running art sessions for Keighley Healthy Living, Cliffe Castle Museum as well as sessions from her own studio in Keighley.

Ruth is DBS checked and first aid trained and will be supported at the session by a DBS checked volunteer.
