Art-Star Art Class Spring 1

This fun class, led by qualified tutor Ruth, explores a wide range of painting and drawing techniques using a variety of different media, including printing, still life drawing, watercolour painting and much more.

These sessions are suitable for ages 8 to 14 and all levels of ability.

Materials are included.

Class dates: Tuesday 04 January to Tuesday 15 February (7 sessions) Class times: 4 - 6 pm Class location: The Studio, Glusburn Community & Arts Centre Course fee: £59.50 paid in advance (£8.50 per session). Sibling discount of £1.50 per child.

Taster session available. Students can join part way through a block and will only be charged for the remainder of the block (discount code required). 

About the Tutor Ruth Wightman is an artist and tutor with over 20 years of experience teaching in various settings including schools, museums, community centres, residential homes, and even a women's prison! The owner of Art-Star (Yorkshire) Limited, over the summer she will be running art sessions for Keighley Healthy Living, Cliffe Castle Museum as well as sessions from her own studio in Keighley.

Ruth is DBS checked and first aid trained and will be supported at the session by a DBS checked volunteer.
