Games Group

Our Games Group has traditionally met every Tuesday afternoon between 1:30 and 3:30 pm. Our regular visitors have enjoyed playing table tennis, board games, cards and dominoes.

The current organiser is now stepping down and we are looking for a new person, or group of people, to relaunch the group and take on the organisation and running of this valuable social drop-in session.

​

The new organisers may like to follow a similar format, but equally you would be very welcome to revamp the group! We envisage the roles of volunteers could include:

• bringing refreshments (hot/cold drinks and biscuits)

• helping to set the session up (our caretakers will set out tables/chairs)

• managing the cash donations of visitors

• helping to tidy up at the end of the session

• promoting and advertising the group locally

We’d love to hear from you if you’d like to help. Depending on the level of interest, you could share the roles with others or take on more responsibility for organising the group!
