We need your help. Find out why, here

Glusburn Gardening Society
Our Gardening Society traditionally meets on the third Friday of the month (October to June), from 7:30pm. Most months, we welcome a guest speaker on a subject of interest. Our attendees pay a small fee at each talk they come to, and we serve drinks and a biscuit at our meetings. We also organise trips out from time to time.

The current organiser is now stepping down and we are looking for a new person, or group of people, to take on the organisation and running of this thriving group. We envisage the roles of volunteers could include:

-
managing membership details
-
looking after member payments
-
helping to organise the programme of guest speakers
-
bringing refreshments (hot/cold drinks and biscuits)
-
helping to set the session up (our caretakers will set out tables/chairs)
-
helping to tidy up at the end of the session
-
promoting and advertising the group locally

We’d love to hear from you if you’d like to help. Depending on the level of interest, you could share the roles with others or take on more responsibility for organising the group!
